What we collect and what we don’t.
Your shortlist
Saved venues stay in your browser’s local storage on this device. We don’t receive them. A shared shortlist link contains venue identifiers only. It never includes names, dates or notes.
Forms
When you submit a venue, a correction or a message, it’s emailed to us with only what you typed and the time it was sent. Your email is optional unless you want a reply. We use it only to answer you.
Analytics
We use Google Analytics to understand how the site is used: pages viewed, and anonymous actions such as searches, filter use, saves, comparisons and clicks to a venue’s own site. Google Analytics sets cookies and Google’s privacy policy applies to that data. We don’t send what you type, contact details or planning notes, and a click to a venue’s booking page is counted as a click, not a booking.
Maps
Maps on this site come from Google Maps. They load only on pages with a map, and only when the map scrolls into view. When one loads, your browser connects to Google, and Google’s privacy policy applies to that connection. Everything else on the site is served by us.
