Editorial policy
How places get in, how they’re ordered, and what we won’t do.
Independence
No paid placement, no affiliate links, no sponsored rankings. If that ever changes, it will be labeled on the page it affects.
Ordering
Results are ordered by what the sort menu says: name, straight-line distance, largest published group size or largest published wedding capacity. Places that need confirmation sort after confirmed matches. Nothing is boosted.
Lists
Every list states its inclusion rule, such as “venues whose own site states a tasting party of 8 or more.” A list is published only when enough records meet it.
Photos
Venue pages show only photos the venue or photographer has cleared for us to use, credited. We never use one venue’s photo for another or generate images that could pass for a real place. Where we have no cleared photo, you’ll see an abstract illustration, labeled as one.
What we won’t invent
Names, prices, capacities, hours, amenities, testimonials, ratings, availability or visits. Unknown stays unknown.
Drinking and driving
Please plan a driver, a tour or a car. We never frame a route as a reason to drink and drive.
